Lechpol strategy on a macro-scale - Romania, the Netherlands and the Logistics Centre

Year-after-year Lechpol issues a new catalogue to cover all the products available in offer followed by smaller catalogues dedicated to its particular sections and brands. In addition, the Internet sites have been settled to accommodate product indexes and maps how to find relevant sales and distribution spots. Companies and wholesales that cooperate with Lechpol were given presenters on Lechpol products they sell. Participating in various promotional actions our trade partners could get as well clothes and other promotional materials. Best customers traditionally assist us on annual trips ‘Across the countries and capitals of Europe’. In order to support functioning of wholesales and larger electronics shops Lechpol bought several tens of company cars serving to streamline the customers’ operations. What is more, precise working areas for salespeople have been determined, while wholesales were guaranteed beneficial sales conditions.

On January 1st, 2008, in the light of very good relationships being a daily business practice between Lechpol and S.C. Romania, the two companies concluded a merger and a new enterprise named LECHPOL ELECTRONIC ROMANIA became a new market player. In 2009 LECHPOL ELECTRONICS came into possession of a one-hectare plot in Oradea (at the border with Hungary)  hosting an office complex as well as a storage hall with a surface floor of 2000 m2. In 2009 an analogous scheme was enforced when LECHPOL ELECTRONICS GROUP HOLAND came into being.

Bearing in mind the need to back development of companies that cooperated with Lechpol, a new brand – Lpelektronik was registered in Autumn 2008. The idea to create a new brand served the introduction of another business concept – to settle an autonomous, supported by Lechpol forces network of electronic shops. Soon an utterly successful meeting with customers took place in Miętne, where conditions of cooperation and entrance to the group were discussed. After a few months another meeting of the LPelektronik group was held in Mercure Hotel in Lublin, during the ‘Sound of Tuning’ fair. It is when promotional actions of Lechpol aimed at the newly established network’s common goal were outlined. One of the actions in question is publishing a paper LPelektronik with core interest in industry the group functions in. It appears quarterly (a circulation of over 1m ). The paper’s distribution is being accomplished in all Poland. Moreover, LPelektronic is given appropriate space in every single piece of Lechpol advertising.

Subsequent building sites in progress as well as successful cooperation with Tatra Spring motivated the President towards further investments. It was determined to set up, within a four-hectare plot adjoining Garwolin ring road, Logistics Centre to perform a function of additional storage capacity and a place where other businesses could conduct their activity. The President Zbigniew Leszek together with his sons Mariusz, Michał and Marcin registered on December 22nd, 2008 in Sąd Rejonowy w Warszawie (Court of First Instance for Capital City of Warsaw) a new company under the name ‘LECHPOL LOGISTICS Marcin Leszczek Spółka Komandytowa (limited partnership), KRS number: 0000320161 (National Court Register number). Soon afterwards the works on ‘LECHPOL LOGISTICS PARK’ facilities reached their realization stage. The design was prepared by the company ‘Part’ from Ostrów Wielkopolski. Construction works all began on May 8th, 2009. Fixing the Founding Act into the building, which were to house five storage halls with two attached office facilities (16 600 m2 in total) occurred on the President’s 50th birthday. Celebrations hosted the family and friends. Building works were executed by a friend-company ‘Dombud’ from Odolanów. The investment was completed after eight months and opened on January 1st, 2010. Since February 1st, 2010 most of the space has been let to the following companies: Harper Trade Sp. z o.o. from Mińsk Mazowiecki, Tatra Spring Polska Sp. z o.o. from Garwolin and Eurocash S.A. with the seat in Komorniki. One storage hall was left as reserve for the needs of Lechpol.

Logistics Centre LECHPOL LOGISTICS PARK became workplace for ca. 500 inhabitants from the Garwolin Powiat. Krzysztof Domarecki was appointed the Complex Administrator. On May 8th, 2010 the building was officially opened by the owners of LECHPOL LOGISTICS partnership, which was added splendor by the presence of representatives of the Chancellery of the President, Polish MPs, local authorities, representatives of the Catholic Church, companies conducting their activity in the newly opened building as well as Lechpol customers and employees. Responsible for stimulating good tempers of the gathered was the highland band ‘Tekla Klebetnica’ Their energy proved to be all immediately contagious.

After the ceremonies had been concluded, all the present went to Holiday Inn Hotel in Józefów to delight themselves with exuberant festivities obvious on the occasion of Lechpol 20th jubilee.
